 PLEBEIAN VIEW-APRIL 2008- "The Dream 40 years later" Yes it has been 40 years since the assassination of Marin Luther King Jr. We here at the Plebeian View would like to take a look at America and MLK dream. Have we gotten pass the color line? We think not, when a Black man Shawn Bell can be shot 50 times and Black and Latino males are profiled by New York City police department more than 50 % of the time. Driving while Black or Brown is a scary thing. |

 The long awaited sequel to Bat Man Begins has finally arrived. Directed by Christopher Nolan, who is also co-writer of this film along with Jonah Nolan. The Dark Knight which was released on July 18,2008 is an action packed crime mystery that lasts a looong 150 minutes. Christian Bale returns to the role of Bat Man. Although this is a movie about well, Bat Man, I will refer to this movie as "The Joker" for the remainder of this review. |
